About Clean Harvest Farms
No Chemical Pesticides Sustainable, Local, Fresh
Clean Harvest Farm’s mission is to build community through education, food accessibility, land stewardship and sustainable agriculture techniques including low-energy usage hydroponic farming.
Hydroponic Lettuce & Herbs
We grow our crops off the ground, reducing the risk of soil-borne pests and plant diseases. And since each tower grows independently, we can isolate and address any problems without impacting the entire farm.
True Aeroponics
An advanced form of hydroponics, aeroponics is the process of growing plants with only water and nutrients. This innovative method results in faster growth, healthier plants, and bigger yields using fewer resources.
Produce at Peak Flavor
We reduce food transportation time. Your produce retains peak freshness and flavor. Plus, our aeroponic process increases the nutrient density of some crops.

When lettuce is transported over long distances, it is typically packed in a way that preserves its freshness, such as refrigerated trucks or containers. These transportation methods help maintain the quality of the lettuce and extend its shelf life but come at a high carbon cost. At Clean Harvest Farms we grow and distribute to local markets, vastly reducing the carbon footprint of our lettuce.
Clean Food Starts with Clean Water
Clean Harvest Farms uses well water pumped directly from the Edwards Aquifer to irrigate the orchards and greenhouse grows. Greenhouse water is filtered using reverse osmosis (RO 1:1) and ultraviolet technologies before it enters the greenhouse irrigation system. Clean Harvest Farm’s closed-loop system recycles between 95% and 98% of water in the grow towers.
Disrupting Ag
Clean Harvest Farms is disrupting the dominant agriculture paradigm in Texas that promotes corn, cows and cotton over more sustainable and environmentally appropriate crops. The Disrupting Ag Blog
